Meet the TeamKen started his first business, Landscape Techniques, fresh out of college with $1,000 and a pickup truck. He grew the company to $5 million before selling to TruGreen/LandCare in 1998.
He purchased Scapes Group Landscape, which grew to $17 million and ranked as one of America’s top 100 landscape companies. After ValleyCrest Landscape acquired scapes in 2007, Ken spent three years in leadership as the Commercial Sales Leader for the southeastern United States.
Ken and his good friend and industry leader, Ben Gandy, started Envisor Consulting in 2011.
Over his 30+ year career, Ken has been a long-standing member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and past president of the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA).
On the national stage, Ken provides industry insights, best practices, and systems for thriving landscape operations as a keynote speaker, contributing writer for Landscape Management, and other industry magazines.

Ben has developed operating systems and implemented key strategies that have propelled several businesses to profitability, market leadership, and successful transitions, including Scapes Landscape, one of the top 100 companies in the US.
Ben’s lean production expertise is unparalleled, having spent several years working with the nation’s largest landscape provider deploying their progressive initiatives on a national level. He has been to virtually every landscape market in the US, implementing lean on a cultural and practical level.
A longtime member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), Ben has a down to earth, practical approach. He is committed to simple solutions that drive results.
With a passion for operations, systems-based management strategies, and lean thinking, Ben guides others in pursuit of their vision.

Tim is an operator with 30 years of practical Field and Business Leadership experience.
He has consulted for high profile brands, including Trump properties and Gaylord Hotels, where his guidance has produced systems, processes, and operational development in ways that set these brands apart.
Tim has taken over the leadership of multiple dysfunctional, losing business units, and led these branches to be highly functional, respected, and profitable businesses within two years.
His branches routinely led the region and ranked among the best performers in the nation, in the ValleyCrest / BrightView organization. His ability to lead, coach, and develop teams is second to none.
Tim currently serves on the advisory board for Palm Beach State College of Horticulture, has served on the Advisory Board for the University of Florida School of Horticulture, and volunteers for Teaching Applied Horticulture through Florida Orange County Math Magnet Program, and the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue Advisory.
Steven serves the Environmental Services industry in an executive leadership capacity by leading business systems development and process improvement initiatives. Specializing in providing solutions in complicated environments where companies are experiencing a turnaround situation, growing pains from acquisitions or organic growth, or have an appetite to raise the professionalism and business acumen within their leadership team to drive results.
This is demonstrated by Steven’s deep understanding of the key drivers within the value chain and business life cycle. His unique experience comes from leading and driving change over the last 20 years as an industry finance executive or owner within some of the nation’s most recognized and fastest growing companies. Among them are BrightView, ValleyCrest, Scapes, and TruGreen Landcare. Each of these companies experienced accelerated growth of 200-300% during his tenure.
Within these complicated environments, Steve has developed enterprise-wide financial systems and operational reporting, implemented a branch management training program focused on successful financial management and profitability, and provided leadership in pre and post-acquisition integration efforts in markets all over the country.
Steven has learned firsthand that successful branch financial management within the industry involves making complicated financial concepts simple to understand, using the right metrics and KPI’s, and being sensitive to the impact process change has on culture, employees, and customers.
Steven holds a B.S. in Business Management from WGU and is certified in Project Management, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing disciplines. On a personal level, Steve enjoys road cycling, tennis, and serving in various leadership roles in youth organizations and outreach activities.

Steve’s education are in Finance and Accounting, however, his entrepreneurial spirit drew him out his career at the Federal Reserve Bank and into the landscape industry where he sent a number of yearswith TruGreen LandCare and the Budd Group, rising the leadership positions in both organizations.
Capital Land Management grew at a $1M per year pace through its 12-year history before being successfully acquired by Juniper Landscapes, one of the nation’s largest landscape providers.
Steve’s range of experience includes boots-on-the-ground, successful entrepreneur, and financial analysis. He is uniquely equipped to pay it forward through working with Envisor’s clients to envision and achieve their greatest success.
